The flower stalks of this plant are pubescent and erect. The flowers of the holostem poppy will be single; their color can be either white or yellow. The stamens of this plant are quite numerous, there is only one pistil, and the fruit is a capsule.

Holostem poppy blooms from June to July. For growth, this plant prefers sandy and gravelly slopes, places among bushes and dunes, sandy river banks and pine forests. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the coastal regions of the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, the upper Amur region, as well as throughout Yakutia, with the exception of the Arctic region.

Description of the medicinal properties of poppy

The poppy is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, and the presence of such medicinal properties should be explained by the content of alkaloids such as morphine and papaverine in the composition of this plant. The resulting medicinal mixture should be infused for about two hours, after which this medicinal mixture based on poppy should be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting medicinal product three times a day, one or two tablespoons.
