Description of Critium Primorsky
Critium maritima is a perennial herbaceous plant whose height will vary between fifteen and fifty centimeters. It is noteworthy that this entire plant will be naked. The rhizome of Critium maritima is thick and multi-headed, and at the top it will be branched. The stem of this plant can be either ascending or straight. Also, such a stem is hollow, round, finely grooved, and at the top such a stem will be slightly branched. Critium maritis leaves are light green in color and will be fleshy or succulent. The umbrellas of this plant are endowed with about ten to twenty rays. The involucre leaves of Critium maritima can be either ovate-lanceolate or lanceolate. The calyx teeth of this plant are very short, and the petals do not exceed one millimeter. The length of the fruits of Critium maritima will be about six millimeters.
This plant blooms from July to August. Under natural conditions, Critium primorium is found in the Crimea and the Western Transcaucasian region of the Caucasus. For growth, this plant prefers rocky beaches along the seashore, as well as cracks in limestone rocks in the surf.
Description of the medicinal properties of Critium primorium
Critium primorium is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the leaves of this plant for medicinal purposes.
The roots of Critium martinum contain essential oil. The aerial part of this plant contains essential oil, flavonoids and polyacetylene compounds. Critium martinum leaves contain essential oils that contain vitamin C, anthocyanins, limonene, kaempferol, quercetin and terpineol. The inflorescences of this plant contain essential oil, while the fruits contain essential and fatty oils, coumarins and petroselinic acid. It is noteworthy that despite the fact that the chemical composition of this plant is literally completely known, nevertheless, all the ways of using the healing properties of Critium maritum have not yet been fully studied. For this reason, in the near future we can expect the emergence of new ways to use such a plant, both as part of various mixtures and as decoctions and infusions.
An infusion prepared from the leaves of this plant has antiscorbutic, diuretic and anthelmintic effects.
The following remedy based on this plant should be used as a diuretic and antiscorbutic agent: to prepare such a remedy based on Critium maritum, you will need to take one tablespoon of crushed leaves of this plant per glass of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be infused for at least one hour, after which this healing mixture based on Critium primortium should be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting healing mixture three times a day, one or two tablespoons. It should be noted that in order to achieve the greatest effectiveness when taking such a remedy based on Critium maritum, it is recommended not only to strictly follow all the rules for preparing such a healing remedy, but also to very carefully follow all the rules for taking this remedy based on such a plant.
