The achenes of the eastern Sigezbekia are reverse pyramidal, their length is three millimeters, and their width slightly exceeds one millimeter; such achenes are painted in dark gray tones.
This plant blooms from June to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Caucasus, Crimea, Black Sea region, Central Asia, Primorye and Amur region in the Far East. It is noteworthy that Sigesbeckia orientalis is a poisonous plant, for this reason a considerable degree of caution should be observed when handling this plant.
Description of the medicinal properties of Sigezbekia orientalis

As an antipyretic, it is recommended to use the following very effective medicinal remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a medicinal product you will need to take one teaspoon of crushed dry herb of the oriental sigezbekia per about three hundred milliliters of water. The resulting medicinal mixture should first be boiled for about four to five minutes, then left to infuse for one hour, after which this mixture based on Sigesbekia orientalis must be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting medicine based on this plant three times a day, regardless of food intake, one tablespoon as an antipyretic.
