Description of mountain wormwood

Mountain wormwood is a perennial herbaceous plant whose height will vary between eighty and ninety-five centimeters. The stem of such a plant is straight, rounded and furrowed. The baskets of this plant will be ovoid in shape and almost sessile; the length of such baskets will be about two to three millimeters, and the diameter will only slightly exceed one millimeter. Such baskets of mountain wormwood are collected on branches in a densely spike-like manner, and a paniculate inflorescence is formed. All flowers of mountain wormwood will be marginal and fertile, there are eight of them in total, they are pistillate, and the corolla, in turn, will be narrow-tubular. The disc flowers of this plant are bisexual, there are only five of them, while the corolla will be tubular-conical and bare.

Mountain wormwood blooms in August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Far East. Mountain wormwood prefers forest meadows to grow.

Description of the medicinal properties of mountain wormwood

Mountain wormwood is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes the inflorescences, leaves and stems of this plant. The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content of coumarins, beta-sitosterol and sesquiterpenoids in this plant.

As for Chinese medicine, this plant is quite widespread here. Chinese medicine recommends using a decoction prepared from the mountain wormwood herb for urolithiasis, tropical malaria, and baths for beriberi disease. The aerial part of this plant is an excellent raw material for making cigars, which will then be used for burning.

The grass and leaves of mountain wormwood are recommended for use in the preparation of ointments, which in turn are indicated for use for various skin diseases and scabies.

For bronchial asthma, you should inhale the smoke that is produced by burning the leaves and stems of this plant. In addition, a decoction prepared from the leaves of mountain wormwood is recommended for use as a general tonic, antipyretic and hemostatic agent. Also, a decoction based on the leaves of this plant is used for neuralgia, toxicosis in pregnant women, diarrhea, pyoderma, encephalitis and pulmonary tuberculosis.

For pulmonary tuberculosis, it is recommended to prepare the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of crushed dry leaves of mountain wormwood per glass of water. the resulting healing mixture should be boiled for about three to four minutes, and then this mixture is left to infuse for about one hour, after which such a healing mixture based on this plant should be filtered very carefully. Take this remedy based on mountain wormwood three to four times a day, one-third of a glass or half of such a glass. It is very important to follow all the rules for preparing such a medicine in order to achieve the greatest effectiveness.
