Field toadgrass is one of the plants of the family called Asteraceae or Asteraceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Felago arvensis L.

Description of the field toad
Field toad grass is also known by numerous popular names: white toad grass, beard, white pollen, gourd, white gourd, clubhead, green toad, white toad, female toad, probe, catnip, wormwood, puchika, pustom, five-fingered, tropnik, trail. Field toadgrass is an annual herbaceous plant, the height of which is about fifteen to thirty-five centimeters. The entire plant is covered with rather thick felt, painted white. The stem at the very top will be branched, it is endowed with branches that go upward. The leaves of this plant will be linear-lanceolate in shape. The flowers of this plant are in small baskets; they are collected in bunches of three to ten pieces in the axils of the upper leaves at the very ends of the branches. The outer flowers are in the axils of the inner leaves of the involucre. The average flowers of toadgrass are bisexual and tubular, the blades of the style will be thread-like. The fruit of this plant is an ovoid achene, not endowed with ribs. At the same time, the outer achenes are also not endowed with volatiles.
Under natural conditions, field toadgrass can be found in the European part of Russia, as well as in Ukraine, the south of Western Siberia, the Caucasus, Central Asia and Belarus. For growth, the plant prefers sandy, dry places, wastelands, dry pine forests and fallow fields.
Description of the medicinal properties of toad grass
Field toadgrass is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The term grass includes leaves, stems and flowers.
An herbal infusion of this plant can be used for fever, diarrhea, heavy menstruation, and a variety of sore throats, including sore throat, laryngopharyngitis, and laryngitis. Dried toadgrass herb can be used as a tea, which should be sipped. In the form of tea, this remedy is effective against hysteria and bloody diarrhea. As for the decoction of the herb of this plant, you can use this product to rinse your mouth for toothache, gingivitis and stomatitis.
Crushed fresh leaves of this plant can be used to treat scabies and wounds. The dried herb should be crushed, then formed into pads, which should be applied to the enlarged lymph nodes.
For insomnia and nervous disorder, you should use a fairly effective remedy based on toadgrass: to prepare such a remedy, it is recommended to take one tablespoon of crushed herbs of this plant per two glasses of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be infused for one hour, and then the mixture is filtered very carefully. Take this remedy one glass warm two to three times a day. It should be noted that in order to obtain the greatest effectiveness, you must strictly follow not only the preparation standards for this product, but also all the rules for administration.
If you have a toothache, you should rinse your mouth with the following remedy: to prepare it, take three tablespoons of the herb and pour them with two glasses of water. The resulting product is boiled for thirty minutes, then cooled, and then filtered very carefully.
To treat trophic ulcers, wounds and burns, pour hot vegetable oil into the crushed grass in a ratio of one to five. Then this mixture is infused for three weeks in a dark place, after which the mixture is ready for use.
