Northern tansy

Northern tansy is one of the plants of the family called Asteraceae or Asteraceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Tanacetum boreale Fisch. ex D. S.

Description of northern tansy
Northern tansy is a perennial herbaceous plant, the height of which will fluctuate between thirty and one hundred centimeters. The stems of this plant can be either single or a few erect. The length of the stem leaves is about twenty centimeters, and the width will be approximately eight to ten centimeters; such stem leaves will be on rather long petioles. In outline, the leaf blades of northern tansy will be oblong, and the upper leaves are sessile. There are only about five to forty baskets; they will be collected in a dense complex corymbose inflorescence. The corolla of trumpet flowers is located at the marginal pistillate flowers, which can sometimes turn into reed flowers; the length of such a corolla will be about two to three millimeters. The length of the achene of this plant is one and a half to two millimeters, and the width is only half a millimeter.
Northern tansy blooms from July to September. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Central Asia, the Siberian and Eastern Arctic, in the north of the Ob and Altai regions of Western Siberia, in the Far East in all regions, with the exception of the Kuril Islands, as well as in all regions of Eastern Siberia except the Yenisei region. For growth, northern tansy prefers places near roads, places among bushes, banks of rivers and lakes, meadows and steppe slopes.
Description of the medicinal properties of northern tansy
Northern tansy is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the inflorescences of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content of essential oil in this plant, while the inflorescences contain flavonoids.
As for traditional medicine, here this plant is quite widespread. An infusion prepared from the inflorescences of this plant is recommended for use for ascariasis, intestinal disorders, peptic ulcers, jaundice and various liver diseases, and is also used as a diuretic.
For peptic ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take one teaspoon of crushed northern tansy inflorescences per glass of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should be infused for about two to three hours, after which it is recommended to strain this medicinal mixture very carefully. Take the resulting medicine based on northern tansy three times a day before meals, one or two tablespoons. It should be noted that in order to ensure the greatest effectiveness when taking such a medicinal product, it is recommended not only to strictly follow all the rules for taking such a medicinal product based on this plant, but also to carefully follow all the rules for preparing such a medicinal product. Provided that it is used competently and correctly, a positive result will be noticeable quite quickly: it all depends on the degree of intensity of the disease of the stomach or duodenal ulcer.
