For growth, this plant prefers dry forests, river pebbles, dry rocky slopes, open or overgrown shrubs.

Dahurian lumbago is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the flowers, roots and grass of this plant for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes inflorescences, stems and leaves. The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content of saponins in this plant.

As for traditional medicine, Daurian lumbago has become very widespread. Traditional medicine recommends using a decoction prepared from the roots of this plant as a very effective expectorant. A decoction prepared from the flowers and herbs of this plant is used as an analgesic and antipyretic for various colds and fevers, which will be accompanied by aches and coughs. In addition, such a healing agent can be used as a distracting agent such as mustard plasters.

In the form of infusion and decoction, Tibetan medicine recommends using the herb and flowers of this plant for exhaustion, ascites, edema, renal and hepatic colic. In addition, it should be noted that this healing agent is also used externally as an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial agent in the treatment of purulent wounds. It is strictly forbidden to take drugs created on the basis of Daurian lumbago for gastritis, nephritis and other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

It is important to note the fact that Daurian lumbago is a poisonous plant; for this reason, it is recommended not only to strictly observe increased caution when handling this plant, but also to use medicinal products based on it under the constant supervision of a doctor.

As an antipyretic, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take one teaspoon of crushed herb or Daurian lumbago flowers in two glasses of water. The resulting healing mixture should be boiled for about three to four minutes, after which this mixture is left to infuse for one hour, and then this medicinal mixture is filtered very carefully. Take this medicine based on this plant three times a day, one tablespoon, regardless of meals.

The following medicinal remedy is used as an expectorant: to prepare it, take six grams of crushed roots of the Daurian lumbago per half a liter of water. The resulting mixture based on Daurian lumbago is boiled for five minutes, left for an hour and filtered, and taken three times a day, one tablespoon.
