Description of wild radish

Wild radish is an annual herbaceous plant whose height will vary between twenty and seventy centimeters. The leaves of this plant are covered with stiff hairs, they are lyre-pinnately dissected and endowed with four to six pairs of lateral segments. Wild radish petals are yellow in color, but can sometimes be white. The length of the pods of this plant is three to eight centimeters, while their diameter is about five millimeters, and the length of the spout is one to two millimeters.

Wild radish blooms throughout the summer. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Belarus, Crimea, Ukraine, Central Asia, Moldova, the Caucasus, Western and Eastern Siberia, the Kuril Islands, the Amur Region and Primorye in the Far East, the Arctic regions of Russia and the European part of Russia. For growth, this plant prefers places near roads, wastelands, forest edges, weedy meadows, fields and crops.

Description of the medicinal properties of wild radish

Wild radish is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, and it is recommended to use the seeds and tubers of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of flavonoids and glucobrassicin thioglycoside in the composition of this plant, while the seeds contain fatty oil.

Wild radish is endowed with very effective antibacterial properties. It is noteworthy that the tubers of this plant have found use in homeopathy. As for traditional medicine, here this plant is very widespread. For various skin diseases and stomach disorders, it is recommended to use this plant, and a decoction prepared from wild radish seeds is indicated for use in sciatica, tumors and rheumatism.

For rheumatism, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take about one teaspoon of wild radish seeds per full glass of water. The resulting medicinal mixture based on this plant should first be boiled for about four to five minutes, and then this mixture is left to infuse for about two hours, after which, finally, the mixture should be very carefully strained. Take the resulting medicine based on wild radish for rheumatism three times a day, regardless of food intake, approximately one to two tablespoons.

For urolithiasis, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a medicine, you will need to make a hole in a whole and fairly large wild radish. Honey or sugar is then added to such a hole. The resulting wild radish juice should be taken in approximately half a glass for urolithiasis, regardless of food intake. In addition, such a medicine based on wild radish should be used for various lung diseases, and also used as a diuretic. Provided that it is properly prepared and used, such a medicinal remedy based on wild radish will be very effective: depending on the degree of intensity of the disease, a positive effect will be noticeable.
