Zamanika high is a small shrub, the height of which will be about one meter. The stems are most often single, they will be about one and a half to two centimeters in diameter, and at the base such stems will be slightly curved. The bark is painted in light gray tones, and in the upper part of the stem it is quite densely covered with thin needle-like thorns. It is worth noting that there will be quite a few thorns in the lower part of the stems, and on some specimens there are none at all. The leaf petiole is dotted with small-sized spines. The leaf edges of this plant are endowed with sharp double teeth and a fringe consisting of spiny hairs. The leaves above are endowed with scattered spines, and below all the veins will be spiny. It should be noted that the size of the leaf blade of the tall zamanika exceeds the size of all other shrubs of the Far East: some blades can reach a diameter of forty centimeters, but most often their diameter is fifteen to thirty centimeters. The leaves of the tall plant are concentrated at the top of the stems. The inflorescences are axillary, their length is seven to twelve centimeters, such inflorescences will consist of a number of small umbrellas. The flowers of this plant are quite small in size, they are colored greenish-yellow. The fruits are bright red and very juicy, and their length does not exceed twelve millimeters. It should be noted that the growing season of this plant will be quite short.

Under natural conditions, the plant is found in the Far East in Primorye, as well as in China. For growth, the plant prefers fir-spruce forests, narrow ravines and places near the seashore. It should be noted that in the south in spruce-fir forests, this plant is the main understory shrub and will be found in very large quantities.

Description of the medicinal properties of high lure

High zamanika is endowed with quite valuable healing properties, and for medicinal purposes, rhizomes with roots should be harvested during the ripening of the fruits and after the leaves fall, at the end of September-October. The dug rhizomes should be shaken off the ground, washed in cold water, and then dried in the shade in the air. It is worth noting that the shelf life of such raw materials will be three years.

The presence of such valuable healing properties is explained by the content of essential oil in the leaves, rhizomes and stems, which contains the following substances: free acids, phenols, alcohols and aldehydes. The greatest amount of essential oil will be contained in the rhizomes and roots of the tall plant. This plant contains coumarin, resinous substances, triterpene saponins, flavonoid glycosides and echinoxosides.

Preparations prepared from this plant can have a stimulating effect on the central nervous system and will also reduce high blood sugar levels in the initial stages of diabetes. In small doses, such drugs increase, and in large doses they reduce blood pressure, and the drugs will also increase diuresis. The plant is used as a stimulant of the central nervous system for various nervous and mental diseases, asthenia, asthenodepressive and asthenohypochondriacal conditions that occur after suffering from various debilitating diseases.
