The leaves of Impatiens parviflora are either ovate or elliptical, their length is eight to seventeen centimeters, and their width is about four to eight centimeters. Such leaves will be pointed at the top and also wedge-shaped at the very base. The flower stalks of this plant are axillary, they will be equal in length to the leaves and protruding, and are also four to twelve flowered. The flowers of Impatiens parviflora are small, and their length can reach up to one centimeter; they will be colored in lemon-yellow tones, and will be endowed with reddish specks in the throat. The length of the spur of the outer sepal of this plant will be about four to five millimeters; it can be either straight or club-shaped. At the end there are petals fused in two pieces, which are three-lobed with reddish specks.
This plant blooms from June to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Central Asia, in the European part of Russia, in the Dnieper region of Ukraine, as well as in the Altai and Irtysh regions of Western Siberia. For growth, this plant prefers gorges, rocky slopes, places along the banks of rivers, streams, wet places, and can also be found as a weed in vegetable gardens and orchards.
