Padellus magalepensis

Padellus mahaleb is one of the plants of the family called Rosaceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Padellus mahaleb (L.) Vass. (Cerasus mahaleb (L.) Mill., Padus mahaleb (L.) Borkh., Padus mahaleb L.).
As for the name of the Padellus Magalepsis family itself, in Latin it will be: Rosaceae Juss.
Description of Padellus Magalepsis
Padellus Magalepsis is a tree or shrub whose height will reach thirteen meters. The bark of this plant is painted in dark gray tones, the leaves of Padellus Magalepsis are on petioles, and their length will be about three to twenty millimeters. Such leaves are colored in light green tones, while on top they will be slightly shiny, smooth and bare, and below they may be endowed with yellowish pubescence, which is located along the main veins. The length of such leaves will be about two to eight centimeters, and the width will be equal to one and a half to six and a half centimeters, while the edges of such leaves will be glandular and crenate. The flowers of Padellus Magalepsis are arranged in corymbose racemes, while the pedicels and axis will be bare, the length of the pedicels is approximately six to fifteen millimeters. The corolla of this plant is very fragrant, it is painted white, the length of the petals is approximately five to eight millimeters. The knuckle of this plant will first be painted in yellow tones, and then turn red, while in its mature form the knuckle is already painted in black tones, while its width is about seven to nine millimeters and its length is eight to ten millimeters.
Padellus magalepsis blooms from the end of July to the month of August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Crimea, Central Asia, the Caucasus and the following regions of Ukraine: in the Carpathians, in the Black Sea and Dnieper regions. As for the general distribution, this plant can be found in Asia Minor, the Mediterranean, the Balkans, and Central Europe. For growth, Padellus Magalepsis prefers deciduous forests, river banks, places among bushes, juniper forests, screes and rocky slopes. It is noteworthy that this plant is very decorative.
Description of the medicinal properties of Padellus Magalepsis
Padellus Magalepsis is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the fruits, seeds, fresh bark of branches and wood of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of flavonoids, coumarins, sucrose, vitamin C and phenolcarboxylic acids in this plant. The seeds will contain cyclitols, alkaloids, steroids, fatty oil, phospholipids, herniarin, as well as phenolcarboxylic acids and their derivatives.
A decoction prepared from the wood of this plant is recommended for use as a very effective diaphoretic, and can also be used for rabies. The fresh bark of the branches of Padellus Magalepsis has become quite widespread in homeopathy. A decoction based on the seeds of this plant should be used for asthenia, gastralgia, scorpion stings and as a tonic. It is noteworthy that the leaves and fruits of Padellus Magalepsis are used to prepare eau de toilette.
As a diaphoretic and for rabies, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy you will need to take twenty grams of crushed padellus magalepsis wood per glass of water. This mixture is boiled, then infused and brought to the original volume with water. This healing remedy is used three to four times a day, one third of a glass.
