Anthurium transplant
As the flower grows, it needs to be replanted into large pots; small shoots need to be replanted once a year, and large shoots at least once every three years. Replanting must be done very carefully, as the roots of this plant are very fragile.

How to care for anthurium
As mentioned above, the plant loves moisture, but do not overwater the plant. Anthurium should be watered with purified water, temperature 20 degrees. You need to make sure that a lot of water does not accumulate in the pan, otherwise the roots may rot. In winter, watering should be reduced, but care should be taken that the soil does not dry out. You can also spray the leaves of the plant with water.
An important step in caring for anthurium is lighting. The light should be soft and diffused. In winter for long periods bloom of light there should be more. When choosing a place for this whimsical plant, you need to stay on the western or eastern side.

Since anthurium comes from the tropics, it needs warmth; it is very thermophilic. In spring and summer, the temperature should range from 20 to 25°C; in colder times, the optimal temperature is 18 degrees. Make sure there are no drafts, they are detrimental to this plant. The combination of good humidity, light and fresh, warm air is what this wonderful tropical plant needs.

Over time, the anthurium ages, loses its decorative effect, the leaves become shredded, and the plant trunk dries out a little. There is no need to worry about this, you just need to rejuvenate the plant. Anthurium has aerial roots that can be quite large. They are visible under the leaves on the stem of the plant. In order to rejuvenate a flower, you need to cut off the top with leaves so that at least 2 aerial roots remain, and plant the top in the ground. Typically, rejuvenation is performed before transplantation. Do not touch the remaining root in the pot, but watering must be reduced, since there are no leaves and there is nothing to evaporate the moisture. After some time, young shoots will appear, which can also be replanted in the future.

By following these rules, you can grow a wonderful tropical paradise on your window, and the king of this paradise will be anthurium.
