Such a root is covered with oblong-triangular leaves, which will be scale-like, its length is four to five millimeters, and its width is three to four millimeters. The stems of Rhodiola pinnatera will be densely leafy and few in number. The flowers are dioecious and four-membered, the length of the petals is six millimeters, and they are colored yellow. The length of the fruits is about seven millimeters, and they will gradually turn into a spout. The seeds of this plant are colored brown and will be oblong in shape.

Rhodiola pinnatera flowering occurs from June to July, while this plant will bear fruit from July to August.

Description of the medicinal properties of Rhodiola pinnate

Rhodiola pinnatera is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the rhizomes and roots of this plant for medicinal purposes.

The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of tannins, esculetin, organic acids, flavonoids, phenols and their derivatives in the roots and rhizomes of this plant. The aerial part of this plant will contain flavonoids, coumarins, alkaloids, tannins, phenols and their derivatives. It is noteworthy that the roots and rhizomes of Rhodiola pinnate can be used similarly to Rhodiola rosea.

In folk medicine, remedies based on this plant are quite widespread. Traditional medicine recommends using preparations based on Rhodiola pinnatifida as a central nervous system stimulant, a tonic, and a general health tonic. These remedies are also used for hemorrhoids and cardiovascular insufficiency.

The adaptogenic and stimulating properties of this plant extract are similar to those of Rhodiola rosea, while the phenolic components of this plant possess anti-inflammatory properties. It should be noted that Rhodiola pinnatifida requires protection.

For hemorrhoids, the following highly effective remedy based on this plant is recommended: To prepare this remedy, add one tablespoon of crushed roots and rhizomes of Rhodiola pinnatifida to approximately one cup of boiling water. The resulting medicinal mixture should first steep for one hour, and then be thoroughly strained. Take one to two tablespoons of this herbal remedy three times daily, regardless of meals. When used correctly, the positive effect will be noticeable fairly quickly, depending on the severity of the initial illness.
