As for Chinese medicine, healing remedies based on this plant are quite widespread. Rhizomes and seeds of the Japanese egg capsule are taken both as an infusion and as a decoction. Such drugs are used as hemostatic agents for various gynecological diseases, and are also used as a tonic for neurasthenia, as a blood purifier and stomach strengthener.
