It is noteworthy that during the experiments it was found that burdock root increases the deposition of glycogen in the liver. In fresh form or even as a liquid extract, the root of this plant is used to treat diabetes of varying degrees. This decoction is used three times a day: to prepare it, take twenty grams of roots per two hundred and fifty milliliters of water.
