Swertia perennial is one of the plants of the family called Gentianaceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Swertia perennis L.

Description of the perennial version
Swertia perennial is a perennial herbaceous plant whose height varies between six and eighty centimeters. This plant is painted in green tones. The rhizome of perennial Swertia is ascending and small, and it is covered with root lobes. The stem of such a plant is slightly branched and straight; the basal leaves of Swertia perennial are on rather long and thin petioles, which can be equal to the plate or slightly longer than it. The length of such leaves will be equal to three to seven centimeters, and the width will be about two to three centimeters, there are only one or two pairs of stem leaves, most often they will be opposite, oblong-lanceolate or lanceolate, and the length of such stem leaves is one and a half to two and a half centimeters. The length of the perennial inflorescence of Swertia is about seven to ten millimeters; such an inflorescence is not multi-flowered, they will be narrowly lanceolate. The flowers of this plant are five-membered, the calyx is about five to six millimeters long, the corolla of this plant can be colored in blue-violet, gray-blue or yellowish-green. The length of the corolla blades is approximately six to eight millimeters. The boll of perennial Svertia is ovoid, its length is ten to twelve millimeters. The seeds will be flat, ring-shaped and quite numerous, and the width of this plant is two millimeters.
The perennial svertia blooms from July to October. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the territory of Belarus, the Far East, the Carpathians, the Rivne and Ternopil regions of Ukraine, the Baltic, Vologda and Ladoga-Ilmen regions of the European part of Russia. For its growth, perennial Swertia prefers river banks, mossy meadows, swamps and wet lowland meadows.
Description of the medicinal properties of Swertia perennial
Perennial Swertia is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The term grass includes stems, flowers and leaves.

As a tonic, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of dry crushed herb, Swertia perennial, in about one glass of boiling water. The resulting medicinal mixture should first be left to infuse for about two hours, after which this mixture based on Swertia perennial should be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting medicine based on perennial sverstiya two to three times a day, one-third or one-fourth of a glass. It is noteworthy that such a healing remedy can also be used to improve appetite: for this purpose, it is recommended to use this medicine three times a day, regardless of food intake, two tablespoons.
