Fumaria schleicheri is an annual herbaceous plant, growing approximately ten to thirty centimeters tall. Its stem is branched from the base, with erect or sloping branches, all slender. Its leaves are glaucous, bipinnate, or tripinnate. The racemes are elongated and sparse, bearing numerous flowers and borne on slender stalks. These slender stalks are approximately one to one and a half centimeters long. The slender corolla of this plant is pinkish-purple in color and approximately five to six millimeters long, with a dark spot at the apex. The spur curves downward and is quite thin, approximately two to three times shorter than the petals themselves. The nutlet is laterally compressed and rounded in shape, approximately two millimeters long.

Fumaria schleicheri blooms from June to July. In the wild, this plant is found throughout European Russia and Crimea, as well as in the Carpathian Mountains and the Dnieper region of Ukraine, throughout the Caucasus, and in Central Asia. It prefers saline areas and rocky, dry slopes. Fumaria schleicheri can often be found as a weed, from lowlands to mid-mountain zones. It is also worth noting that this plant is poisonous, so extreme caution should be exercised when handling it. Description of the medicinal properties of Fumaria schleicheri

Fumaria schleicheri has quite valuable medicinal properties, and it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The herb includes the leaves, flowers, and stems. This material should be harvested during the flowering period.

The presence of such valuable healing properties is explained by the content of lipids, tannins, alkaloids and vitamins C and K in the plant. An infusion and alcohol extract based on this plant can be used as an antihypertensive agent, as well as for diseases of the stomach and lungs, headaches and jaundice, and in addition also for various cardiovascular diseases. Such agents can also be used as hemostatic and wound healing agents for hemorrhoids. It is noteworthy that young leaves of Schleicher fume can be eaten in salads in the spring.

As already mentioned, great care should be taken when using this plant, because Schleicher fume is a poisonous plant.

For all of the above diseases, it is recommended to use a fairly effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy you will need to take one teaspoon of dry crushed herb per three hundred milliliters of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be left to infuse for one hour, and then this mixture is filtered very carefully. Take this remedy based on Schleicher fume, one tablespoon three to four times a day before meals. It should be noted that in order for the use of such a product to be more effective, it is necessary to strictly follow all the rules for preparing this product, and also follow all the rules for its administration.

Applying fresh crushed herb to both wounds and abrasions will also be quite effective.
