Siella straight
Siella erecta is one of the plants of the family called Umbellaceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Siella erecta (Huds.) M. Pimen. (Berula erecta (Huds.) Cov., B. angustifolia Mert. et Koch.).
As for the name of the Siella straight family itself, in Latin it will be: Apiaceae Lindl. (Umbelliferae Juss.).
Description of Siella straight
Siella recta is a perennial herbaceous plant whose height will vary between twenty and one hundred and twenty centimeters. The rhizome of this plant is endowed with creeping shoots, and its stems are branched, hollow and almost round in shape. The leaves of Siella recti will be pinnately dissected, with the lower leaves located on the petioles and endowed with four to nine pairs of serrated, incised and ovate-oblong lobes. The leaves of the lower pair of this plant turn out to be smaller in size and are retracted, while the upper leaves will be reduced and also sessile on the membranous sheath widened along the edge. Most often, the umbrellas of Siella straight are opposite and are on rather short legs, and are also endowed with ten to twelve unequal rays. The fruits of this plant are broadly ovoid and their length will be about two millimeters.
Siella straight blooms from June to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Central Asia, Belarus, the Caucasus and the following regions of the European part of Russia: Lower Don, Volga-Don, Black Sea, Lower Volga and Ladoga-Ilmen. For growth, the plant prefers ditches, swamps, marshy banks and the water of slow-flowing streams.
Description of the medicinal properties of Siella straight
Siella straighta is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the leaves and roots of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of essential oil, mannitol carbohydrate, flavonoids and angelicin in the composition of this plant, while polyacetylene compounds will be present in the roots. Siella straight grass, in turn, contains vitamin C and the following flavonoids: 3-rhamnosyl glucoside of kaempferol, 3-rhamnosyl glucoside, 3-glucoside and 3-polyglucoside of quercetin. The fruits of Siella straight contain fatty oil, which in turn contains the following acids: stearic, linolenic, capric, palmitic, linoleic and petroselinic.
Siella recta is endowed with a very effective diuretic, antiscorbutic, stimulating and analgesic effect. In the Caucasus, an infusion prepared from the herb of this plant is used as a diuretic and antiscorbutic. For toothache, you should use a decoction of the roots of this plant. For preparing salads, it is recommended to use young leaves of Siella straighta.
For chronic fatigue, it is recommended to use the following very effective healing remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a medicine, you will need to take three tablespoons of crushed dry herb Siella straighta for about half a liter of boiling water. The resulting medicinal mixture should first be left to infuse for about one hour, after which this mixture based on Siella straight must be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting healing mixture based on this plant three times a day before meals, one-third of a glass for chronic fatigue. If used correctly, this drug will be very effective.
