The stems of Potentilla longifolia are straight, they are endowed with numerous leaves and will be covered with simple hairs. The root and lower stem leaves of this plant will be on long petioles, they are quite large, three to five pair-pinnate, while the upper stem leaves will be two to three pair-pinnate. The inflorescence of Potentilla longifolia will be compressed, the calyx will be hairy, and the sepals will be compressed. The petals of this plant are notched and broadly obovate, they will be colored yellow. The achenes of this plant are smooth, small and whitish in color.

Long-haired cinquefoil blooms from June to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Central Asia, the Far East, the Middle Urals in the European part of Russia, as well as in Western and Eastern Siberia. For growth, this plant prefers forest edges, meadows, open grassy and rocky slopes.

Cinquefoil longifolia is endowed with very valuable healing properties. As for Russian folk medicine, the rhizomes of this plant are quite widespread here. Such healing agents are used for scurvy, dysentery and diarrhea, and are also used as a gastric, astringent and hemostatic agent. A decoction prepared from the herb Potentilla longifolia is recommended for use as a sedative, and in addition, this remedy is also used for prolapse of the uterus.

Take the resulting product warm in slow sips before meals three times a day, one-third of a glass.

For tuberculosis, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on Potentilla longifolia: to prepare such a remedy, you will need to take one teaspoon of the flowers of this plant per glass of boiling water.
