Cinquefoil crantzii is one of the plants of the family called Rosaceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Potentilla crantzii (Crantz) G. Beck ex Fritsch.

As for the name of the cinquefoil family itself, in Latin it will be: Rosaceae Juss.

Description of the fender blade

Cinquefoil is a perennial plant whose height will vary between eight and twenty centimeters. It is noteworthy that the rhizome of this plant will be quite powerful. The stems of Potentilla kranz are slender and numerous. The marginal stems of this plant will be erect, while the middle stems are erect. The root and lower stem leaves of Potentilla kranz will be quintuple and short petiolate, while the middle stem leaves will be trifoliate and the upper ones will be sessile and simple. The leaves will be deeply incised and toothed, and on top they can be either almost bare or appressed with hairs. The inflorescence of Potentilla kranz is multi-flowered.

The diameter of the flowers of this plant is about one to two and a half centimeters; the outer sepals are much shorter than the inner ones. The petals of the cinquefoil are painted in golden-yellow tones, are notched and will be exactly twice as long as the sepals. This plant blooms from July to August.

Under natural conditions, the cinquefoil fender can be found in the Carpathians in Ukraine, in all regions of the Caucasus and Central Asia, in the Altai region of Western Siberia, in the Siberian Arctic and the European Arctic, as well as in the following areas of the European part of Russia: Dvina-Pechora, Karelo-Murmansk, Ladoga-Ilmensky, Volga-Kama and Baltic regions. For growth, the plant prefers cliffs, meadows, forest edges and rocky areas.

Description of the medicinal properties of cinquefoil fender

Potentilla kranz is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the grass of this plant, which is recommended to be harvested throughout the entire flowering period. The concept of grass includes the flowers, leaves and stems of this plant.

The aerial part of the cinquefoil contains ellagic acid and the following flavonoids: glycosides of kaempferol, quercetin and isorhamnetin. The leaves will contain phenolcarboxylic acids and their derivatives: ferulic, ellagic, caffeic and p-coumaric acids, as well as cyanidin, quercetin and kaempferol. It should be noted that the fender cinquefoil is endowed with the ability to exhibit increased antibacterial activity.

To prepare a healing remedy based on Potentilla kranz, you will need to take three tablespoons of dry crushed herbs of this plant per two glasses of boiling water. It is recommended to infuse the resulting healing mixture for about two hours in a sealed container, after which such a remedy based on this plant should be very carefully filtered. Take the resulting healing remedy based on Potentilla kranz half an hour before meals three times a day, one-third of a glass. It should be noted that in order to ensure maximum effectiveness when taking such a medicinal product based on Potentilla kranz, it is recommended to very carefully follow all the rules for preparing such a remedy, and also strictly follow all the rules for taking such a medicinal product based on this plant. If such conditions are met, maximum effectiveness will be achieved when taking this drug based on Potentilla kranz.
