Sea wormwood

Wormwood is one of the plants of the family called Asteraceae or Asteraceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Artemisia maritima L.
As for the name of the wormwood family itself, in Latin it will be like this: Asteraceae Dumort. (Conpositae Giseke).
Description of wormwood
Sea wormwood or seaside is a perennial herbaceous fragrant and white-pubescent plant, endowed with a woody root, the height of which will vary between twenty and eighty centimeters. The stems of this plant are ascending and quite numerous, and in the upper part they are branched. The leaves of wormwood are alternate; they will be pinnately dissected with narrow linear lobes. The flower baskets of this asthenia are ovoid and rather small in shape, they form a compressed paniculate inflorescence, and all the flowers in the basket will be tubular, and the involucre leaves are small.
The flowering of wormwood occurs during the period from July to August. For growth, this plant prefers steppe slopes and chalk outcrops, as well as dry saline soil. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of Ukraine, Russia, along the coast of the Azov, Black Seas and Sivash.
Description of the medicinal properties of sea wormwood
Sea wormwood is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use flower baskets and herbs of this plant for medicinal purposes. The term grass includes stems, flowers and leaves. It is recommended to procure such raw materials during the period from July to August.
The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content in the flower baskets of this plant of essential oil, tannins, absinthine and anabsinthine, sesquiterpene lactone santonin, carotene, succinic and malic acid, vitamins C and B6, mineral salts and chamazulene. This plant will be endowed with very effective diuretic, anthelmintic, anti-inflammatory and choleretic properties.
An infusion prepared from the flower baskets of wormwood is indicated for use in cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, scanty and irregular menstruation, as well as shortness of breath. In addition, this healing agent is also used to improve appetite, and is also used as an anthelmintic. It is recommended to rub bruised areas with an infusion based on the herb wormwood, and poultices made from crushed herbs can also be applied to such sore spots. It is noteworthy that fresh branches of wormwood can be used as a means to repel fleas.
For irregular menstruation, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take one teaspoon of dry herb, sea wormwood, in two glasses of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should be infused for about fifteen to twenty minutes, and then the mixture is filtered very carefully. Take the resulting medicine based on sea wormwood three times a day, about thirty minutes before the start of a meal, one third of a glass.
The following is used as an anesthetic poultice: take two tablespoons of the herb of this plant and boil it with boiling water, then wrap the resulting mixture in gauze. This healing remedy based on marine wormwood is not only easy to make, but also very effective.
