Adams’s rhododendron is one of the plants of the family called Ericaceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Rhododendron Adamsii Rehd.

Description of Rhododendron Adams
Adams rhododendron is an evergreen shrub whose height can reach fifty-five centimeters. Such a plant will be endowed with splayed ropes; young branches are hairy and densely scaly and rusty. The leaves of Rhododendron Adams are oblong-oval in shape, and at the top they will be endowed with a small point, their length is about ten to twenty millimeters, and their width is five to ten millimeters. There are only about seven to fifteen flowers of this plant; they are almost sessile and collected in corymbs. The corolla of the rhododendron is endowed with a saucer-like bend; it can be colored in both pink and pale pink tones; it is endowed with a network of veins of a darker color. The tube of such a corolla will be cylindrical, and inside it will be shaggy, its length is about six and a half to eight and a half millimeters. The boll of this plant is scaly and slightly rounded, and its length is about three to six millimeters.
Adams rhododendron blooms from June to July. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Far East and Eastern Siberia, and as for its general distribution, the plant is found in Mongolia. For growth, this plant prefers mountains, the upper mountain zone, starting from the upper forest boundary up to the high-mountain tundra. It is noteworthy that Adams rhododendron will usually form thickets.
Description of the medicinal properties of Rhododendron Adams
Adams rhododendron is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the flowers, shoots and leaves of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of sitosterol, phenols, tannins, essential oil, titerpenoids, cadenolides and the diterpenoid andromedotoxin in this plant.

Aqueous extracts based on the leaves of this plant and aqueous-alcoholic extracts will be destructive for streptococcus, dysentery bacilli, golden yellow staphylococcus and typhoid bacteria. Notably, hydroalcoholic leaf extracts from Rhododendron Adams leaves will be endowed with highly effective hypotensive properties. As for Tibetan medicine, decoctions based on rhododendron adams shoots are widely used here, which are indicated for use in cardiovascular diseases. The essential oil of this plant is used in soap making and perfumery. It should be noted that Adams rhododendron is also considered an insecticide against moths.
