Rowan garden

Garden rowan is one of the plants of the family called Rosaceae; in Latin the name of this plant will be as follows: Sorbus domestica (L). (Purus sorbus Gaertn.).

Description of rowan
Garden rowan is a tree whose height will vary between four and ten meters. The bark of this plant is colored in gray tones and is rough; on young branches such bark will be colored in red-brown or olive-gray tones. Most garden rowan trees are sticky and glabrous, and will be somewhat hairy towards the ends. The leaves, seven to ten pieces, will be paired, and their length will be approximately twenty centimeters; such leaves are sharp and lanceolate. The leaves of garden rowan will be quite wide, their length will be thirty to fifty millimeters, and their width will be fifteen to twenty millimeters, in addition, such leaves can be very narrow, their length can be forty to fifty millimeters, and their width will be fifteen to twenty millimeters. The inflorescences of this plant are densely tomentose, branched and broadly pyramidal, their diameter will be about six to ten centimeters, while the flowers will be approximately one and a half millimeters across. The fruits of garden rowan will be round in shape, they can be colored red or greenish-yellow, and often will also be brownish-red. The seeds of this plant are flattened and have an almost sharp edge.
Garden rowan blooms in May, while this plant will bear fruit from September to October. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Caucasus and Crimea. As for the general distribution, garden rowan can be found in the south of Central Europe, the Mediterranean, the Balkan mountains and Asia Minor. For growth, this plant prefers the undergrowth of beech-hornbeam, hornbeam-oak and oak forests, as well as places among bushes. Garden rowan can grow either in groups or individually up to a height of up to a thousand meters above sea level.
Description of the medicinal properties of mountain ash
Garden rowan is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the fruits of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of carotene, vitamin C, parasorbic acid and an oxygen-containing compound in the fruits of this plant.
The fruits of mountain ash are used as a fixative and astringent for vitamin deficiency and various gastrointestinal diseases. It should be noted that the fruits of mountain ash are edible in dried form. Such fruits are used in the form of fruit tea and are quite often used in the confectionery industry.
For diarrhea, it is recommended to use the following very effective healing remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a healing remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of rowan fruits to about one glass of boiling water. The resulting medicinal mixture should first be infused in a fairly tightly sealed container for about four hours, after which such a medicinal mixture based on mountain ash must be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting medicine based on this plant three to four times a day, regardless of food intake, one-third of a glass for diarrhea. This healing remedy based on garden rowan will be very effective when used correctly.
