For the favorable development of this plant, it is recommended to provide the plant with regular replanting. This plant should be replanted as it grows, and it is also important to carry out such a replantation after the end of the spring flowering period. When replanting, it is important to select shallow pots that will fully correspond to the size of the root system.

As for the composition of the soil mixture itself, you will need to mix garden soil, peat chips and a certain amount of humus. Also, one third of such soil should be made up of loosening components: namely brick chips, gravel, coarse sand and expanded clay. The acidity of this soil soil should be slightly acidic.

When there is a lack of sunlight, the tiny rebutia can lose its shape and will also form underdeveloped spines. In addition, in this case, the flowering of this plant will not occur. Preventative treatments with pesticides are extremely important for tiny regrowth, since the plant will be easily affected by mites. The buds of tiny rebutia very often dry out or degenerate into lateral shoots if any violations occur in the conditions of detention.

Throughout the dormant period, the plant will need to be maintained at an optimal temperature between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius. It’s worth noting that during this period, Rebutia minima does not require watering. This dormant period begins in October and lasts until April.

Rebutia minima can be propagated by seed or by lateral shoots. It’s worth noting that lateral shoots will root quite easily after a short period of drying.

Specific requirements for this plant include maximum sunlight. Fresh air is also very important for the plant: in summer, the pot containing Rebutia minima should be placed outdoors, but it is important to ensure reliable protection from rain. The plant should be misted even during the dormant period. Rebutia minima should not be watered until sunny and warm weather sets in, even when the plant is already covered in buds. The flowers and stems of this plant are decorative. Rebutia minima blooms from March to July. Its flowers are orange, red, and pink. The golden spines, which evenly cover the stem, are also decorative.
