Description of mountain fireweed

Mountain fireweed is a perennial herbaceous plant, the height of which will be about one meter. The stem of this plant is single and erect; it can be either branched or simple. At the base of such a stem, short shoots with rosettes of leaves will develop in the fall. As for the leaves of the mountain fireweed themselves, they will be colored in dark green tones, and will be ovate-lanceolate in shape. Such leaves will be opposite, and the apical leaves will be alternate. Mountain fireweed flowers are located on the tops of the stem in the axils of the upper leaves, the petals will be colored pink, the seeds will be either brown or gray in color, and at the tops such seeds will be round in shape.

Mountain fireweed blooms from June to September. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Daursky region of Eastern Siberia and Western Siberia, as well as in the Far East on Sakhalin and in the south of the Kuril Islands. As for the general distribution of this plant, it is found in Iran, Asia Minor, the Balkans, the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Central and Atlantic Europe. For growth, mountain fireweed prefers wooded slopes, mixed and dark coniferous forests, as well as forest edges, places among bushes, shady and damp places.

Actually, it should be noted that mountain fireweed is a rare species, which is endowed with a relict distribution mainly in the east of Siberia. It is noteworthy that in the Irkutsk region this plant will be located at the eastern border of its range. Most often, mountain fireweed will grow singly, but sometimes it can also occur in small groups.

Description of the medicinal properties of mountain fireweed

Mountain fireweed is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes the leaves, stems and flowers of mountain fireweed. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of tannins in this plant. An infusion prepared from the mountain fireweed herb is a very valuable and effective hemostatic agent.

For bleeding, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on mountain fireweed: to prepare such a very effective remedy, you will need to take two tablespoons of crushed dry herbs of this plant per glass of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be infused for two hours, and then it must be filtered very carefully. It is recommended to take the resulting remedy based on mountain fireweed either one third of a glass, or half a glass three times a day: the intensity of intake will be directly dependent on the severity of the initial bleeding. It is important to note that in order to achieve the greatest effectiveness when taking such a product based on dry crushed mountain fireweed herb, you should not only strictly follow all the standards for preparing such a product, but also carefully follow all the rules for its preparation.

It should be noted that due to the fact that the chemical composition of this plant has not yet been fully studied, its use for medicinal purposes may be incomplete and after a certain time we can expect the emergence of new products based on mountain fireweed.
