The pale yellow involucre of scabiosa is narrowly funnel-shaped, its length is three to four millimeters and such an involucre is endowed with eight sides. The width of the crown is one to fifteen millimeters; it is three times shorter than the tube. The heads of pale yellow scabiosa fruits are oblong in outline, their diameter is approximately half a centimeter, and their length is one to one and a half centimeters.

Pale yellow scabiosa blooms in June, while the plant will bear fruit in August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the territory of Belarus, Central Asia, Ukraine, the Angara-Sayan, Daur and Yenisei regions of Eastern Siberia, in all regions of Western Siberia, with the exception of only the southeast of the Ob region, as well as the European part of Russia, except for the Ladoga-Ilmen, Karelo-Murmansk and Dvina-Pechora regions. For the growth of scabiosis, pale yellow prefers weeds, steppe meadows, steppes and sandy gravelly soils.

Externally, this remedy is used to remove warts and eye diseases, skin rashes, scabies, calluses, hemorrhoids, and snake bites, and is also used as a highly effective wound healing agent.
