Kachim Daurian is a perennial herbaceous plant endowed with a bare stem, which is also white. The rhizome of this plant is woody, and its numerous herbaceous and ascending stems at the very base will reach a height of about fifty to eighty centimeters. The leaves of the Daurian kachim are lanceolate-linear, their length is three to six centimeters, and the width is about three to seven millimeters. The leaves of this plant will gradually become pointed, they taper at the base, and such leaves are endowed with three to five veins, and most often leafy and shortened branches will emerge from the axils of the cachima dahurian. The inflorescence of this plant is corymbose-paniculate and compressed. Kachima Dahurian flowers will be on pedicels that will be equal to the calyx. The stipules of this plant are lanceolate and serrate, they gradually become pointed, and the calyx is bell-shaped. The length of such a cup will be about three to four millimeters, which up to one third or one fourth part will be dissected into triangular, pointed and membranous teeth at the edges.

The petals of the Daurian kachim are painted either in deep or light pink tones, their length will be two to three times longer than the calyx itself. The ovary of this plant is endowed with eleven to twelve seeds, and the capsule is slightly longer than the calyx. The seeds of this plant will be rather short, sharply tuberculate. Flowering of kachim dahurian occurs in the period from July to August. Under natural conditions, this plant can be found in the Daursky region of Eastern Siberia, as well as in the Okhotsk and Amur regions of the Far East. For growth, the plant prefers gravelly and steppe meadows.

Description of the medicinal properties of Daurian kachim

Kachim Daurian is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the roots of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties is explained by the content of flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoids, saponins, as well as phenolcarboxylic acids and their derivatives in the plant.

In Tibetan medicine, a decoction made from the roots of this plant has become quite popular. This decoction of gypsophila daurica roots is recommended for tuberculosis and numerous other pulmonary diseases.

For pulmonary tuberculosis, the following remedy based on gypsophila daurica is recommended: to prepare this remedy, take one tablespoon of crushed dried roots of this plant per three hundred milliliters of water. Boil the resulting mixture for six to seven minutes, then let it steep for one hour, after which it should be thoroughly strained. Take this gypsophila-based remedy, one-third to one-quarter of a glass three times daily before meals.
