The fruit of this plant is bent and wrinkled nuts, the length of which is three to four millimeters. Dark brown nonea blooms at the end of spring and the beginning of summer.

Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Caucasus, the Black Sea region of the European part of Russia, Crimea, as well as in the Dnieper region and the Carpathians in Ukraine. For growth, this plant prefers steppe slopes, places along roads and wastelands.
