The rhizome of this plant is thick, it will be covered with brown remains of stipules. The stems of the cinquefoil bristly are slender, and in their upper part they will have few branches and are covered with thick felt. The root and lower stem leaves of this plant will be pinnate, while the upper stem leaves will be trifoliate. The leaves of the cinquefoil bristly are either oblong-obovate or simply oblong. From below, such leaves will be somewhat hairy and densely yellowish-felt. The flowers of cinquefoil bristly are on rather long pedicels; the petals will be wedge-shaped and obovate and they are colored yellow. The achenes of this plant are small and wrinkled.

Potentilla bristlecone blooms from July to September. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Western and Eastern Siberia, the Tien Shan in Central Asia, as well as in the Southern Urals in the European part of Russia. For growth, this plant prefers sparse pine forests, forest edges, fallow lands, steppes, road edges and rocky slopes.

Take this healing remedy based on this plant warm, drink slowly and in small sips of one third of a glass three to four times a day before meals.

For washes, wet dressings and lotions, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on this plant: to prepare such a remedy you will need to take three tablespoons of cinquefoil rhizomes per liter of water. The resulting mixture should be boiled for ten to twelve minutes, and then this healing agent is left to infuse for an hour, carefully filtered and topped up with boiled water to the original volume. Such a remedy based on this plant is characterized by a high degree of effectiveness when taken.
