Description of the European Weekend

European rosewort is a perennial plant endowed with long thread-like underground shoots, and at the ends of such shoots the formation of tuberous thickenings will occur. The stems of this plant are erect and thin, and their height can reach twenty centimeters. In the lower part of the stem, the leaves of European rosewort will be quite small in size, while in the upper part of the stem they will be somewhat larger and crowded, lanceolate or oblong-obovate in shape, and the length of such leaves will be equal to two to six centimeters. The flowers of the European septum are sessile and they are on long stalks, and such flowers can be colored either pink or white. The calyx of this plant is deeply divided, it is endowed with almost sharp and linear lobes. The corolla of the European rosewort will be seven-parted to the very base, while its lobes are longer than the stamens and calyx, but there are only seven stamens, and the fruit is a capsule.

This plant blooms in June. Under natural conditions, the European septum is found in the Far East, Western Siberia, Belarus, Ukraine and all regions of the European part of Russia, with the exception of the Lower Volga, Zavolzhsky and Black Sea regions. For growth, this plant prefers forests, forest zones, places among bushes, the lower part of the upper zone and the polar-Arctic zone. European septum can grow either singly or in groups.

Description of the medicinal properties of European sedmichnik

European sageweed is endowed with very effective healing properties, and it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes stems, leaves and flowers.

The presence of such valuable healing properties is recommended to be explained by the content of saponins and vitamins in this plant, while the seeds contain the carbohydrate amyloid. As for traditional medicine, here the European sedmichnik has become quite widespread. Traditional medicine recommends using remedies based on this plant externally in the form of washes and lotions, and this healing agent is used internally as an emetic and diaphoretic.

An infusion prepared from the herb of the European sagewort is used as an anti-inflammatory and wound-healing agent for various tumors and panaritiums, and this medicine is taken orally for weakness and as an antimalarial agent.

As an emetic, it is recommended to use the following very effective medicinal product based on this plant: to prepare such a medicinal product, you will need to take one teaspoon of crushed roots of the European sagewort to about one glass of water. The resulting medicinal mixture should first be left to infuse for about five minutes, then this mixture is infused for one hour and, in the end, this mixture based on the European sedmichnik is very carefully filtered. As an emetic, such a remedy based on this plant is taken once a day, regardless of food intake, three to four tablespoons. In the form of lotions, such a remedy can be used as a wound healing agent.
