Description of Lomatogonium spica

Lomatogonium spica is an annual herbaceous plant, the height of which will fluctuate between five and thirty centimeters. This plant is bare and green in color. The root of Lomatogonium spica is thin, and its stems will be simple, they can be either straight or more or less branched. There is no basal rosette of leaves, the leaves themselves will be small, their length is ten to fifteen millimeters, and their width is about two to three millimeters. The flowers of this plant are quite thin and elongated, the length of the calyx is about eight to fifteen millimeters, while its lobes will be narrowly linear. The length of the corolla itself of Lomatogonium spica is about eight to fifteen millimeters; in color, such a corolla can be either blue or light blue in color, and the veins are darker. The blades themselves will be sharp and oblong-elliptical in shape. The length of the box of this plant is twelve to fifteen millimeters, it is oblong. The seeds of Lomatogonium spica are numerous, smooth and rather small.

This plant blooms from August to October. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Central Asia, in the Okhotsk, Amur and Kamchatka regions in the Far East, in the European and Eastern Arctic, in the Altai region of Western Siberia and in all regions of Eastern Siberia with the exception of the Yenisei region. For growth, Lomatogonium spica prefers pebbles, wet swamps, sea coasts, wet gravelly slopes, lowlands in the mountains, places on the banks of reservoirs and in floodplains of rivers.

Description of the medicinal properties of lomatogonium spica

Lomatogonium spica is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. The concept of grass includes flowers, leaves and stems.

Furthermore, this Lomatogonium spicata decoction is also recommended for topical use as a valuable wound-healing remedy for bruises and various ailments of the liver, gallbladder, and spleen.

For hepatitis and cholecystitis, the following highly effective remedy based on this plant is recommended: to prepare this remedy, take one tablespoon of Lomatogonium spicata herb per one cup of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be steeped for about two hours, and then thoroughly strained. Take one-third of a glass of this healing remedy made from Lomatogonium spicata three times a day.
