The root of this plant is branched, powerful and vertical. There are only a few stems, they are stocky, simple and strong. The basal leaves of the gallbladder will also be numerous. The flowers of this plant are in a rather dense and somewhat elongated, finely hairy inflorescence. The corolla of this plant is colored in yellow tones, its length is about twenty-eight to thirty-two millimeters, it will be endowed with a straight tube and a slightly crescent-shaped and short-beaked helmet. The capsule of Mytnik gall is oblique and rigid, and its length is about fifteen millimeters.

This plant blooms from June to July, while the fruits ripen in July-August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Central Asia and Altai. For growth, the gallstone grass prefers the banks of rivers and streams, juniper forests, birch forests, and subalpine meadows in the mid-mountain zone.

Description of the medicinal properties of Mytnik gall

Mytnik gall is endowed with very valuable healing properties, and for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the above-ground part of this plant and its roots.

The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of triterpene saponins and the following alkaloids in this plant: indicamin, plantagonin and N-methylcytisine.

As for traditional medicine, remedies based on this plant have become quite widespread. Here it is recommended to use a decoction prepared from the roots of the gallstone, used for stomach colic. It is noteworthy that the experiment proved that an infusion based on the herb of this plant showed a cardiotonic effect, as well as the ability to increase blood pressure.

For stomach colic, the following medicinal remedy based on Mytnik gall is very effective: to prepare such a medicinal remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of crushed roots of Mytnik gall in one glass of water. It is recommended to boil the resulting medicine for about eight to ten minutes, and then leave it to infuse for one hour, after which this mixture should be filtered very carefully and then topped up with boiled water up to the original level. It is recommended to use the resulting medicinal product based on Mytnik gall, one or two tablespoons.
